Chesters, Main Street, Balderton, Newark.

Was beginning to worry at first. The night had got off to a strange start, when, for some reason, I left home an hour earlier than I needed to. Then when I arrived at Chesters and started to set up. everybody left. I was really beginning to think it wasn't going to be my night. Then when there was and accident between a car and a motorbike right outside, I thought, "Christ. They're even willing to throw themselves under a car so as not to come and see me." (They were both alright by the way).

When the gig started the first set went ok, nice polite applause, but no-one really dancing. But during the second set, people actually started to arrive, and by the end of the third set was actually quite full. I think everybody enjoyed themselves. I certainly did, and am looking forward to going back.
